
Hertswatch has been recognised for its valuable services to the community in Hertfordshire.
The organisation founded in 2004 has picked up a Lord High Sheriff’s Personal Award at a ceremony in County Hall.
Individual certificates were presented to the two people who have steered Hertswatch to the organisation it is today – Sue Thompson and Keith Batchelor.
There was also a presentation of £250 for the Hertswatch Committee.
Sue said:” We were delighted to receive this award and it is recognition for the good work that Hertswatch carries out.”
HertsWatch represents Neighbourhood Watches throughout Hertfordshire.
It is a link between district Neighbourhood Watch groups and organisations such as Police, Police Authority, Local & Central Government.
