WELCOME TO WAINE’S WORLD!

Philip Waine is the new Watch Liaison Officer for Three Rivers, Dacorum and Watford. He took up his new role in May. Philip who lives in a village in Dacorum used to work for a large charity before taking on his latest challenging role based at Police headquarters in Welwyn Garden City.

But Philip intends to be out as much as possible meeting Safer Neighbourhood Teams and NhW members throughout the large area.

He said: “I love working in the community and want to meet as many people as possible in the areas. I am looking forward to the challenge before me. I am privileged to be working in this area. Three Rivers does top the lists in most of the statistics which clearly show it is one of the safest areas in the whole county and country.

” I hope to support you in any way I  can. I see my role as a bridge between working with you and working with the police. I feel very lucky to be part of a local Neighbourhood Watch scheme.”

He said the Online Watch Link – OWL- is gong from strength to strength clearly shown by the fact that 51 per cent of households in Three Rivers are now signed up.

“The low crime figures in the area reflect the fact that NhW is very active,” he added.
