St Albans

St Albans, also known as the City and District of St Albans!

Welcome to Neighbourhood Watch – St Albans District

Neighbourhood Watch in St Albans is all about bringing neighbours together to create a safer, stronger, and more connected community. As part of the UK’s largest voluntary crime prevention movement, we work closely with residents, Hertfordshire Constabulary, and local partners to reduce crime, raise awareness, and support one another. Whether you’re looking to start a local scheme, stay informed about what’s happening in your area, or simply meet others who care about community safety, you’re in the right place.

How to Get Involved

Whether you’re an experienced coordinator or brand new to Neighbourhood Watch, there are plenty of ways to get involved:

  • Join an existing scheme on your street

  • Start your own scheme – it’s simple, and we’ll support you every step of the way

  • Attend local events and meet-ups to connect with fellow volunteers

  • Receive updates and alerts through Herts Connected and our district network

  • Promote safety and awareness among neighbours, friends, and family

Everyone has a role to play, and even small actions can have a big impact. We welcome residents of all ages and backgrounds – the only thing you need is a passion for your community.
