Stevenage
Stevenage lies 29 miles north of London and has developed over the centuries around the Great North Road from London to Durham (A1M) It was designated the 1st New Town to be built under the New Towns Act of 1946. Perhaps the most famous of its citizens currently is Lewis Hamilton, Formula 1 driver.
