Stevenage

Stevenage lies 29 miles north of London and has developed over the centuries around the Great North Road from London to Durham (A1M)  It was designated the 1^st New Town to be built under the New Towns Act of 1946.  Perhaps the most famous of its citizens currently is Lewis Hamilton, Formula 1 driver.
