In my role as District Coordinator for Hertsmere, I have developed links with the local police, and do numerous tasks such as:-
- selling security equipment to Neighbourhood Watch Members – currently 72 items ~ as a non profit making concern, the prices are very good!
- showing Police DVDs on Rogue Traders and Distraction Burglary and give associated talks to various groups
- putting up Neighbourhood Watch Signs. across the district
- Carrying out home security checks and fit security equipment, especially where elderly and/or vulnerable residents are involved
- rolling out free CCTV to agencies
